Braids have been a part of our shared identity for as long as we can remember. We practically grew up in the salon chair, from cornrows, to shuku, to beads, to single braids - the overarching theme was always elegance, beauty and practicality. As we grew that connection evolved into a signature aesthetic that resonated with our community and helped repopularise the classic 2000s hairstyle: The French Curl.

Having both been athletes most of our lives, Temi having competed in the NCAA at D1 level track & field for 5 years, and Tobi having established herself as a reputable authority in the fitness industry through ‘Tone with Tobi’, we never sacrificed the beauty in our hair, and you shouldn’t either; that’s why we bring you ‘KNOTT’.
